We are sustainable Bees on Bitcoin.

We use recycled computers and pruned Raspberry Pi's, to run & promote the usage of sustainable Bitcoin nodes, and are bringing that sustainability and security to you.

Running a Bitcoin node not only helps by making the blockchain more decentralized, but it also allows you to have the utmost privacy and security to facilitate your own transactions without a 3rd party. The problem is - it takes up too much space to sync the entire blockchain, too much energy to constantly run it on your only laptop or desktop 24/7, and too much money to buy dedicated hardware for it.

We also know that a lot of the time it's also hard to find precious learning resources & tools on web3 because of how new and complicated it can all be. So we're starting a resource of our own! Right here in Gitbooks.

What's our solution? Easy tools for users & more sustainable + affordable node hardware along with more educational resources.

We started building tools for personal use but realized that so many people could be benefiting from it, not just us.

We also went to electronic recycling centers and thrift stores to find old cheap equipment to use and put in 1tb HDDs to run cheaper nodes, but that doesn't quite solve the size or power problem, just the expensive problem.

Pruned Bitcoin nodes are a type of node that allows us to take advantage of their enormous security while reducing their blockchain storage requirements so that we can run them on practically any device.

Raspberry Pi's consume way less power than the average laptop or desktop, meaning you can run the node constantly, without having to worry about running up a power bill.

By 3D printing the housing, and building the Pi casing, this will be the most affordable hardware setup for a node, making it more accessible for people who want to facilitate safer transactions and help make Bitcoin faster & more decentralized.

Because the Raspberry Pi consumes so little power compared to a laptop or desktop, you can help run it on SOLAR POWER, bringing the electricity cost down even more.
